MARYELLEN SCILLA GRECO (Owner/Instructor) discovered her passion for movement at a very young age while watching her mother, a former RADIO CITY MUSIC HALL ROCKETTE, teach dance classes in her home. It was with pride and honor that Maryellen followed in her mother’s footsteps and joined the ROCKETTES, becoming one of a small and elite group of second generation dancers to join the famous line.
Maryellen’s Broadway credits include 42nd STREET, MARILYN AN AMERICAN FABLE, CRAZY FOR YOU, and ANYTHING GOES. She has worked side by side with Michael Bennet in SCANDAL and, under the direction of Jerry Zaks, toured in THE TAP DANCE KID, starring Dulé Hill.
In 2002, Maryellen seamlessly transitioned from the world of dance to Pilates. Studying the STOTT METHOD, she earned her certification with Pilates Academy International, certifying in Advanced Mat Work, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair and Barrels. Other certifications include Beyond Barre, Cardiolates (rebounding), and Revolution in Motion. Using a combined knowledge of all these methods, as well as her extensive dance background, Maryellen will tailor an innovative, exciting, and always challenging program best suited for every individuals needs.
